This summer Third Street Alliance has welcomed three interns. All are rising Juniors from Lafayette College. Sarah works under CEO Judy Matthewson on a grant project where she organizes grant information from previous years and decides which are best to apply for in the coming year. Grants are a very important part of Third Street Alliance and many non-profits. They have helped Third Street Alliance with general costs as well as special projects. Mara and Anna work under Brooke Mitman, Director of Marketing and Development, on social media and special projects. They have been updating our Facebook and Twitter accounts, both of which we hope you will connect to. Additionally, they have been preparing for the Sacred Sewing Room Reveal presented by Enchanted Makeovers. This has been a collaborative task between Enchanted Makeovers and Third Street Alliance and we look forward to the shelter residents’ and community members’ use of this new room.
We’ll miss them when they go back to school, but we hope they have learned as much from us as they have done for Third Street Alliance.
