Volunteers in the Sewing Room

Third Street Alliance is fortunate to have a group of volunteers who visit weekly to lead an instructional group in our sewing room. These talented volunteers teach our residents how to mend clothing, make new pillowcases and dolls, and build important social skills via their sewing circle. The sewing group is a wonderful creative outlet for our resident women, and provides them with the opportunity to gain important skills while building connections with their hosts. All of the new items crafted in this program are donated back to Third Street Alliance and our resident families. Thank you!
